With the idea in mind that giving is the best holiday gift of all, Paul Moak Subaru announces the Share the Love Event.

With every purchase or lease of a new Subaru from November 20 through January 3 from the Mississippi Subaru dealer, Subaru will donate $250 to a choice of five charities.  So not only will customers get a great deal, but they’ll also be helping a great cause in the process.

To date Subaru customers have helped donate almost $10 million.  This year Subaru hopes to add another $5 million to that total with contributions to some very worthy organizations.

The ASPCA has helped animals live better lives for over 144 years.  Donations will help the ASPCA rescue animals from abuse, fight to pass humane laws, and provide direct support to shelters.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, the largest donor and volunteer-supported mentor network in the country, believes every child has the ability to succeed and works to make that happen.

Habitat for Humanity strives to eliminate poverty housing conditions by providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for those in need.  Habitat for Humanity has built more than 300,000 houses worldwide since 1976.

Providing meals and nutrition services for the elderly, Meals on Wheels was founded with the goal of ending senior hunger in mind.  It currently has hundreds of thousands of volunteers across the country supporting its local programs.

The Ocean Conservancy is committed to restoring the beauty of the oceans, which are connected to every living thing on the planet.  Funds donated to the Ocean Conservancy help support events like its annual International Coastal Cleanup, which rids beaches, and as a result oceans, of volumes of trash.

Subaru customers can choose any one of the above charities or split the $250 donation among any number of the five.  Once all submissions have been processed, they will receive a “thank you” letter from Subaru and the charities.
